No Boundaries: Contemporary Australian Aboriginal Abstract Painting

Tim Klingender Fine Art recently worked with Miami Beach based contemporary art collectors Dennis and Debra Scholl on the ground-breaking exhibition No Boundaries: Contemporary Australian Aboriginal Abstract Painting, a major American touring exhibition that focuses on nine Australian Indigenous artists: Paddy Bedford, Janangoo Butcher Cherel, Tommy Mitchell, Boxer Milner Tjampitjin, Ngarra, Warlimpirrnga Tjapaltjarri, Tjumpo Tjapanangka, Billy Joongoorra Thomas, and Prince of Wales (Midpul).

Tim Klingender was instrumental in conceptualising this exhibition and assisted the Scholls in the acquisition of the majority of the paintings in this exhibition via private treaty, galleries and auction.

After opening in February 2015, the exhibition is touring the Nevada Museum of Art, Portland Institute for Contemporary Art, Pérez Art Museum, Miami, Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, Detroit and the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art at Cornell University.

The exhibition is accompanied by an illustrated catalogue edited by Henry F. Skerritt.
